ITW Concoon

The futuristic sleeping furniture reminds at the same time of science-fiction and the cocoons of the silkworms. The dome, in an elegant, light-weight design, completely surrounds the wellness lounge, thus enabling relaxation away from any external influences.

Within the dome, the Concoon is characterized by an atmosphere of complete seclusion. The feeling inside is unique and can most likely be described as ‟hovering”.

Once inside, forget the outer world within a short time and feel as if in the mother's body – or even as a ‟floating” as in the weightlessness of the universe.

The built-in ITW water mattress is the heart of the Concoon. You lie flat on it, without sinking into it. By the perfect adaptation to the body, the muscles are relieved, the pleasant warmth encourages the relaxation and additionally has a soothing effect on many everyday complaints.

Once the Concoon’s dome is closed, you immediately dive into another world. Undisturbed by external influences, the own perceptions in the capsule intensify within a short time.

Fine-tuned, gentle light effects on the inner membranes unfold their therapeutic effect. They tempt you to let your thoughts rest and focus your attention on the inside.

The furniture, developed together with the designer Liebmann, specialist in organic shaping, combines a whole range of innovative technologies.

In order to create as light as possible a robust construction, bonds were taken on the yacht construction method. Thanks to these unusual ‟Technologietransfersˮ, the Concoon is particularly suitable for everyday use in the wellness area.

The components of the Concoon are all products of ITW that have been widely tested and developed for this particular application. The built-in water mattress is based on our wellness facilities, which have been used for more than 650 hotels and spas around the world for many years.

When processing the outer skin, great importance was also attached to first-class materials and fine finishing. This makes the Concoon a real eye-catcher for every wellness area.
