ITW Dormicell damping system
Dormicell is a specially developed, reticulated polyether-based foam. The mesh structure of the material does not have any closed cells, so liquids can penetrate the foam without resistance.
What does this mean for our damping?
The core of every water mattress is the cooling system. Frequent reloading during relocations, punctual continuous stresses and increased stress mean that traditional ventilation systems are becoming more and more established over time. They tire and lose their viscosity.
With the new Dormicell damping systems, fatigue phenomena are no longer an issue. You can suck your water mattress as often as you like and refill it - the damping system will maintain the tension.
Dormicell is particularly suitable for
- People with reflux, who are supposed to sleep heavily and thus stress the water mattress separately
- All those who are often relocated professionally and therefore have to suck and refill the waterbed more often
- Obese people

Liquid penetrates without resistance
In the laboratory test, the liquid easily penetrates the Dormicell foam. There is therefore no stress on the damping element. No stress means longer life.
